Join us for an unforgettable two days and two nights of horsemanship, connection, and community on the stunning Clarence River.

This is a family-friendly, community-based camp designed to bring families together through shared meals, nature time, and hands-on learning with our beautiful herd.

Meals – Community Style

This camp is run in a community-focused way where everyone contributes to the food experience.

Each family brings:

Each evening:

  • We share a delicious meal together

  • Everyone contributes and helps with prep and clean-up

  • We eat together around the fire

This keeps the camp affordable, relaxed, and deeply connected.

Camp Schedule

Friday 16th January – Arrival

  • 2:00pm – Check in & meet the team

  • Settle into the bunkhouse or set up your camp

  • Visit the herd in their natural environment

  • Lessons in the round yard

  • River swim & nature play

  • Shared community dinner & campfire

Saturday 17th January – Horsemanship & River Day

  • Troopy Horse Safari & feeding the herd

  • Horsemanship basics & groundwork in the round yard

  • Parent-led ride for the kids

  • Optional bareback river swim

  • Afternoon river play, kayaking & relaxing

  • Campfire evening

Sunday 18th January – Creative Day & Farewell

  • Shared breakfast

  • River swim and relaxed play

  • 12:00pm departure

Camp Program Fee

(Paid directly to The Ranch)

Children (full participants): $550 each

Adults (support role): $450 each

This covers:

  • All horse activities

  • Workshops

  • Troopy Safari

  • River activities

  • Program facilitation

  • Safety gear (helmets, sunscreen, first-aid coverage)

Family Package

2 Adults + 2 Children: $1,750 total

Extra child: $450

This keeps camp accessible and affordable for families.

Accommodation

(Booked separately through Hipcamp)

Option 1 — Rustic Bunkhouse (shared)

Book the bunkhouse (sleeps 9) via Hipcamp for the nights of:
16th & 17th January First in best dressed for bunkhouse beds.

Option 2 — Bring Your Own Camping Setup

Book a campsite through Hipcamp for the same nights.

Horse Safety

Families can relax knowing everything is run with care, awareness, and deep respect for the horses and your children.

Please Note: This is a Child-Focused Camp

All horse riding, horsemanship sessions, groundwork, the Troopy Safari, and river rides are specifically for the children.

Parents attend as supporting adults — helping with shared meals, river supervision, settling their children, and enjoying the community environment — but parents do not ride during this camp.

This ensures the program remains child-centred, safe, and focused on building children’s confidence and connection with the horses.
